ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY

Groundbreaking preparation for the new columbarium foundation! Guido Construction has poured the cement foundation at the Cemetery. The foundation will need to cure 4-6 weeks, before the columbarium can be transported from Calgary, Alberta, and placed on the foundation. The foundation/sidewalk pour was done on Friday, 8/26. A shout out to Guido Construction, Umpqua Sand and Gravel, and Brother's Concrete Pumping. See photos here and photo album below!

PRAYER FOR UKRAINE

O Lord, God of power and salvation, You alone work wonders. In Your merciful love hear us and have mercy on the land of Ukraine. Work a good sign for us so that those who are filled with hatred may see our orthodox faith and be humbled and shaken. Grant Your servants courage against the enemy, and remember those who have given their lives for their faith and country. You are the victory for all who put their hope in You and we give you glory, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever. Amen.

St. Joseph Church hosts the Summer Wine & Brew on Friday, July 16th, 6-8:30 pm, St. Joseph Youth Center Patio | COST $45 | Call the Parish Center at 541-673-5157 or buy tickets after 5 pm or 9 am Mass.

Effective immediately, churches in western Oregon can allow fully vaccinated people to attend Masses and faith gatherings without wearing masks or social distancing. Given the new CDC guidelines: 1) Anyone who is fully vaccinated (final dose + 14 days) may choose either not to wear a mask or to continue to wear a mask. 2) Anyone who is not vaccinated or not fully vaccinated is to wear a mask out of charity for the safety of their neighbor and themselves. This will be an individual’s personal responsibility on an honor system.
